We are the East Bay Typewriter Poets Collective - a group of Bay Area poets armed with antique typewriters and the ability to create extemporaneous poetry.
Saunter up and talk with us a while. Choose a topic. Then sit back as we invent, type up, and perform an original piece for you to take home.
We have been booked for a wide range of events in Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, San Jose, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, San Rafael, Mill Valley, and beyond.

Noaa Rienecker is the booker, operator and bard-in-chief of the East Bay Typewriter Poets Collective. He hails from Inverness, California and has lived in San Jose, Monterey, and Oakland as well as New Orleans and Austin.
In 2022, he started the Austin Typewriter Poets Collective, bringing typewriter poetry to events around Texas. Now he has expanded the operation back to his home turf and is booking talent in the Bay Area and all along the west coast.
The East Bay Typewriter Poets Collective employs creatives all over the Bay Area - you can be sure you’ll be hiring local talent that is witty, sensitive and professional.
